Method
Heat the oven to 220C (200C fan, gas 7). Toss the potato wedges in the oil, spread them on a tray and roast for 30 to 35 minutes, turning once, until golden.
Mix the mince with the grated onion and some pepper, then shape into 4 flat burgers about 2cm thick. Wash your hands after handling raw mince.
Cook the burgers in a hot non-stick pan or under the grill for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, until cooked all the way through: no pink in the middle and the juices run clear.
Split and lightly toast the buns, then fill each with lettuce, tomato and a burger. Serve with the wedges.
