Step 1 of 4

About you

Four short steps. Two minutes, and your first week lands in your inbox.

Sex registered at birth This is not about how you identify — it's a physiology question. It sets the lowest number of calories we'll ever plan for you, and those minimums are based on body type, so please answer with the sex you were registered at birth even if that isn't how you live now. Getting it wrong means a limit set too low, and feeling faint on a plan that isn't giving you enough. If you'd rather not say, that's completely fine — we'll use the more cautious of the two limits.
Date of birth You must be 18 or over. We use this to work out roughly how many calories you burn — that changes with age.
Do you have any health conditions, or take any medication? Just yes or no — we don't ask what the condition or medication is, and we never store that. We do keep your yes or no, so your plan carries the right note. A yes means we keep your plan conservative and remind you to check with your GP.

Step 2 of 4

What do you actually like?

Tap everything you enjoy. We'll build your week around these.

How many calories a day? Slide left for fewer, right for more. Not sure? The usual guideline is around 2,000 for women and 2,500 for men — that's the starting point below.
2,500 kcal a day
1,500 guideline 3,500

Step 3 of 4

What should we keep out?

The important one. We build every plan to avoid what you list here — ensure you check the packaging of every item.

Step 4 of 4

Anything on religious or ethical grounds?

So we can build your plans around what you do and don't eat. We're not a halal, kosher or vegan certification service and we can't verify how a product was made — check the packaging and any certification mark yourself.

Who these plans are for: healthy adults aged 18 and over. They're built around one adult's calorie target, so they aren't suitable for children, and they aren't designed for pregnancy or breastfeeding — your needs are higher then, not lower. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or cooking for children, please talk to your GP, midwife or health visitor first. MyPlatePrep gives general food information; it isn't medical or dietary advice and we're not a clinical service.
